BinjuNkambe News

Than you, Juan for the work you do for our partnership.

We in Binju Nkambe Parish will be celebrating tomorrow, 26 February 2006 the golden Jubilee of our Catechist, Michael Mbunwe. Michael is aged 77 and was the founding catechist when Nkambe Parish was created in 1955. He has worked successfully with all the priests that were posted to the parish.
Since the creation of Nkambe parish, Michael has witnessed its growth and its split to what are today Nkambe Quasi parish, Misaje Quasi Parish, Ako Parish and Binju-Nkambe Parish.

From tomorrow Michael will officially retire as catechist. As he is still very healthy and likes to keep active, we will welcome him as our adviser to all catechists of the parish. He remains our chief Catechist emeritus.

Michael is married and has ten children and a number of grandchildren. He is a member of our parish partnership Commitee.

I recommend him to the prayers of all our partners.

Robert Tanto.
